Buster Keaton’s THREE AGES and Jeong Chang-Hwa’s 1974 film THE SKYHAWK revealed as Eureka’s August 2023 line-up

Eureka! has announced its August 2023 line-up. Featured amongst this line-up is Buster Keaton’s first foray into making; and a 1974 kung-fu classic starring Kwan Tak-hing, Carter Wong and Sammo Hung.

The first feature that Buster Keaton wrote, directed, and starred in, Three Ages spoofs D.W. Griffith’s historical epic Intolerance. Like that film, Three Ages follows multiple narratives across different historical eras, which Keaton packs to the brim with incredible stunts and hilarious visual gags.  The Masters of Cinema is proud to present yet another Keaton masterpiece in its centenary year in its UK debut on Blu-ray, from a stunning restoration completed in 2022 by the Cohen Film Collection. Available from 21 August, the first print run of 2000 copies will feature a Limited-Edition O-card Slipcase.

Kwan Tak-hing returns to his iconic role as Master Wong Fei-hung in this late-70s kung fu classic from director Jeong Chang-hwa (King Boxer). Eureka Classics is proud to present The Skyhawk in its UK home video debut, presented on Blu-ray from a brand new 2K restoration. Available from 21 August 2023, the first print run of 2000 copies will feature a Limited-Edition O-card Slipcase and Collector’s Booklet.
