Eureka! have announced the release of its very first 4K Ultra HD titles.  The most action-packed trilogy of all time, The Police Story Trilogy will make its worldwide Ultra HD Blu-ray debut from stunning 4K restorations on 26 September 2022.

Commenting on the new development, the company’s Managing Director, Ruth Schofield stated  “Over the years via our Masters of Cinema Series and Eureka! Classics range we have always sought to maintain the highest standards in home video presentation, using the finest materials available. So, it was always only going to be a matter of time before we embraced this state of the art, high-end format; enabling us to continue to present the finest in cult and world cinema to the highest possible standard.  We are very proud to present the series of films that revitalised the Hong Kong action genre and established Jackie Chan as a worldwide superstar, as our very first UHD release, and look forward to bringing you more UHD releases in the future, including our first UHD Masters of Cinema release.” The trilogy will be released in a Limited-Edition set (4000 copies only) which will feature a Hardbound Slipcase & 100-page Collector’s Booklet.

In addition to the trilogy, the thrill-a-minute third instalment in the series; Police Story 3: Supercop, starring Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once) alongside Chan; will be released on Blu-ray for the first time ever in the UK as a part of the Eureka Classics range, presented from a brand new 4K restoration. Available from 26 September 2022, the first print-run of 3000 copies will feature a Limited-Edition O-card Slipcase, Lobby Cards & Collector’s Booklet.
